Bryan Golden, Director since 2007

Bryan Golden is Managing Director of Private Capital Corporation, Novato, CA, an investment-banking consulting firm specializing in “Comprehensive Perpetuation Planning” for small and medium sized privately held companies.  He brings to the SIS board almost 40 years of inspirational leadership and management experience in both a distinguished military career and extensive service in senior management of private and publicly owned firms, including a small manufacturing firm that he founded and operated.  He loves the game of golf, and, as a lifelong learner, the objectives of the Society regarding opportunities for discovery, enlightenment and transformation through the golfing experience resonate strongly with him.

Neal Jenkins , Director since 2008

Neil Jenkins is Executive Vice-President, Secretary and General Counsel of Lawson Products, Inc., an international seller and distributor of industrial products. Peter Kargeannes, Director since 2004

Peter is a litigation partner with the Milwaukee-based law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP.  While attending a “Golf in the Kingdom” workshop at Esalen in 2000 he discovered the Shivas Irons Society and found a common love not only for the aesthetics of golf but also for Society’s approach to the game as a means of self-knowledge and transformation. He believes the Society's uniqueness is grounded in its members and he is deeply committed to the ongoing viability of the Society.

Also a former gymnast and tennis player, he rediscovered the magic of golf, which he played only as a child, when he read Golf In The Kingdom. He then joined the Society immediately upon learning of its belief in the grace and transformative power of the game, which he hopes to help spread by serving on the Board.

She likes introducing people to The Society, participating in Shivas events, supporting its mission and planning fun filled golfing outings.

Rob Williams is the CEO of Digital Brand Connections LLC (an Internet media company) and a charter member of the Shivas Irons Society. He was introduced to Golf in the Kingdom on his 30th birthday by his mother who remembered that his father, an avid golfer, had been fascinated by the book. Rob lives in Wilton, Conn. with his wife, Katy, and their four children. He counts Royal Dornoch, the Old Course, and Muirfleld as his favorite links. His golf dream is to play the Old Course with his entire family (some golfing, some along for the walk).
