I'm 71 and work half time these days from home. I live on a public course (Bois de Sioux) in my home town (Wahpeton, ND that is right on the border of MN) but belong as a national member to a private course in the Minneapolis, MN area (Windsong Farm). The Bois de Sioux's claim to fame is that it's a playable, nice course with nine holes on the ND side and nine holes on the MN side separated by the Red River of the North (was once featured in the USGA magazine as a one of its kind course with nine holes in two different states). Windsong is just a great, great golf course. My competitive fire burned pretty hot in my younger years, and I had a modest amount of success in various local and state tournaments over the years. I was president of the North Dakota Golf Association for about six years and on the board and president of our local club for too long. Now, I mostly just enjoy the outdoors, friendship, and banter of playing golf with my buddies and also continually enjoy the battle of improving (or not regressing) my golf ability. Before this COVID nonsense, I traveled quite a bit and have played all over the US, Scotland and Ireland. My handicap has been at around zero for the last 30 years, but I'm quite capable of scoring in the mid-80s on any given day.
