Links Golf in Scotland
Sunday March 30 to Monday April 7, 2025
Experience the best of true links golf, playing six spectacular seaside courses in the Kingdom of Fife and the Scottish Highlands. Your hosts will be Shivas Irons Society Executive Director Ben Kline and golf professional Will Karnofsky, PGA, for a 9-day, 8-night adventure that will have us playing some of the world’s oldest, most picturesque, and finest courses.

Elie Links at The Golf House Club, Elie
Balcomie Links at Crail Golfing Society
Castle Stuart Golf Links (now Cabot Highlands)
Championship Course at Nairn Golf Club
Championship Course at Royal Dornoch Golf Club
We will play, rain or shine, three consecutive days with a break for a day of scenic travel from St. Andrews to Dornoch, followed by three more consecutive days of play.
Note: Prebooking on the Old Course is unfortunately not available. For those wishing to enter the famed ‘ballot’ (we can help you with this process), if successful, you will not be refunded for the originally scheduled tee time.
Where we are staying:
The Albany Hotel, a quaint 3-star boutique townhouse hotel oozing Scottish charm, nestled in the heart of vibrant St. Andrews.
Dornoch Station, a newly renovated 5-star hotel, providing travelers with comfortable elegance against the backdrop of the rugged highlands.
We have limited availability for both single and double occupancy, and limited availability for non-playing travel partners. Please specify your preference and/or flexibility and we will try to accommodate your requests.
How we’ll get around:
We will have two luxury 8-passenger coaches, with dedicated drivers, ensuring our safety and comfort every mile of our journey together.
The custom-built Mercedes Sprinters feature A/C, mini-fridge, Wi-Fi and individual passenger seats with USB connections.
We will provide transport from Edinburgh (city or airport) on Sunday March 30, and return transport to Edinburgh (and/or Inverness) airport on Monday April 7.
What it will cost:
As we are staying in boutique accommodations, room rates vary by size and occupancy. To be fair, we propose responding to your preferences on a first come, first served basis.
Rates are approximately as follows (based on 8/15/24 exchange rate):
--$8,350* per couple in double occupancy room, one golfer and one
non-golfer
--$6,000-$6,500 per person for single occupancy room
--$5,400-$5,500 per person for double occupancy room
*Pricing is higher if both occupants are golfers.
Rate includes:
• 8 nights bed and breakfast
• 6 rounds of golf
• Optional guided meditations, yoga inspired stretching and golf coaching
• 2 dinners: welcome and farewell
• Cultural excursion and lunch
• Daily refreshments
• Luxury transportation
With some experienced Scotland travelers among us, we are also able to make recommendations of things to see and do and places to eat to help make this an unforgettable trip for all.
