Sunday, November 8, 2026, 1 p.m. New York time: “Mastering the Mental Game: Meditation for Sports and Life”

A live online conversation with internationally recognized authors and Tibetan meditation teachers: Dr. Joseph Parent, Geshe YongDong Losar, and host Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche.

What becomes possible when we bring a little more presence to the way we play? Drawing on Tibetan meditation, breath practices, and performance psychology, these three teachers explore how to quiet mental chatter, meet challenges with composure, and make room for confidence and enjoyment to arise naturally. Golf offers a shared starting point, but the conversation reaches beyond the course, to anyone interested in approaching sports, and life, with greater ease and focus. Together, they consider a connection that runs both ways: how meditation can enrich our game, and how playing can deepen our awareness of ourselves and the moment at hand.
